Website Domain Name and Registration

What is a Domain Name?

The Domain Name is your exclusive address on the Internet ( ex: www.domain.com ). Usually, the domain name is your business name or the domain name that is available that best relates to your business activity. Domain Name registrations are necessary to publish websites on the Internet.

Top Level Domains (TLD)

Top Level Domais are Domain Names that end with the following URL extentions:

com Domains

( Commercial )		 net Domains

( Network )		 org Domains

( Organization )

These were the first original 3 domain name extentions, but due to the great increase of domain name demand in recente years, the internet authority created other domain name extentions like UE. PT, INFO etc. to accomodate demand and other reasons.

However, we recommend you register a Top Level Domain Name when possible.

Information necessary to register (TLD) Domain Names:

  1. Name of Domain Name Owner
    Basic Requirements: Name, address, tele and email.

  2. Name of Tech Responsible for the Domain
    Basic Requirements: Name, address, tele and email.

It is NOT possible to register a domain name without a Tech Responsible for the Domain

Usually we are the tech responsible because we provide the necessary website hosting for the domain to go live on the internet.
